That famous Kentucky sun shines most bright on the Bluegrass area's potential. The area is strategically located within 500 miles of nearly three-fourths of the nation's manufacturing employment, retail sales, and population. The area is a thriving business center. In the center of the state, the Bluegrass Region boasts companies such as Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Lexmark International, Clark Material Handling, Link-Belt Construction Equipment, Valvoline Oil, and Proctor & Gamble.

Education Workforce
The sun is shining bright on central Kentucky because it boasts a well-educated, skilled workforce. Lexington is ranked sixth in the nation in the percentage of population having completed sixteen or more years of school. And unemployment levels are consistently some of the lowest in the Commonwealth. Plus, the area is convenient for people across the country. At the crossroads of Interstates 75 (north and south) and 64 (east and west), Lexington is in the center of almost everything. In nearby Versailles, the Bluegrass Parkway provides access to Western Kentucky and Interstate 65.

Activities Galore!
The sun shines bright on the plethora of outdoor activities available in the area. Spend an afternoon at the Keeneland Race Course or Red Mile. See the Cincinnati Bengals prepare for their next season at their nearby Georgetown College summer training camp. Play a round of golf at one of the area's premier courses.
